It’s almost become a habit for me to work and do my household chores with the radio on or have the earphone of my mobile plugged in and the radio on. Somehow when it’s not on I feel a part of mine is missing!!! Funny ain’t it??? I am almost on the verge of depression or al least sadness (really I am not exaggerating on this one!!!) when for some reason the radio is not on (may be my lil one is asleep ..et all)
But my point out here is not to proclaim my love for radio...that is a given by now...but the thought that just came to me was that technically I am all alone at home, but yet I don’t feel alone!!! How cool is that don’t you think so??? I have so many people talking to me and keeping me interested and happy and playing music especially for me(i prefer thinking of it this way!!!)...and time flies by...but hey there is no one around!!!(Ok I don’t intend to make it sound spooky ... but that’s the way it is!) This thought totally intrigues me...that the radio waves are always there albeit in an invisible fashion but they are surrounding us...ALWAYS, its up to us to make use of this invisible potential and get to be a part of something that is live rather than to be all alone and crib till eternity!!! Ain’t this the rule that applies in every sphere of our lives??? We have all the things around us its just that we need to attune to them and listen to them and only then can they make us a part of them and both can get mutually benefited!!!
So just for this thank you Guglielmo Marconi for he was the first one to have proved the feasibility of radio communication(i couldnt resist the temptation of googling more info on it but wont bore u on that...). He sent and received his first radio signal in Italy in 1895...& since then there has been no stopping us in using this invention to our benefit and taking it to unimaginable levels!!! Seriously the human mind boggles me..........
